Yıldız Technical University Naval Architecture and Maritime Faculty, whose foundations were laid in 1967 to meet our country's need for engineers in the field of shipbuilding and maritime, is one of the most established institutions providing education in this field in our country with its half-century history.
Our faculty includes the "Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering", which trains the engineers needed by our shipbuilding industry, and the "Department of Marine Engineering", which was established to meet the need for engineers to work on ships. Both of our departments not only bring the qualified engineers our country needs to the sector, but also meet the officer needs of national and international maritime fleets.
Both programs of our faculty have all national and international accreditations, and there are bilateral cooperation agreements with popular universities in many countries of the world, especially European countries.
Our Faculty, which continues its education and research activities at YTU Yıldız campus in Beşiktaş, has a strong R&D potential with its young, dynamic and well-equipped academic staff.
